Tonight Rick joins rehearsal for the National Ballet of Canada’s lavish Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland where he tap dances with Mad Hatter, helps play the Cheshire Cat, hangs out with the White Rabbit, and chats with Artistic Director Karen Kain. Then it’s off to Lindsay, ON for a logger sports competition, where Rick joins university and college students hewing logs, wielding chainsaws, and racing up poles with spikes on their feet.

22 Minutes, CBC
Jian Ghomeshi appears on 22 Minutes as guest host; famous illusionist, David Blaine (Shaun Majumder) makes magic happen at Tim Horton’s; Mark Critch shares a laugh with MPs Bob Rae, Thomas Mulcair, Tony Clement and Lisa Raitt at the annual Parliamentary Press Dinner in Ottawa; Movember gets a musical tribute by several well-known Canadian songsters.

The Big Decision, CBC
An Ontario family business and a BC footwear company seek Arlene’s help to thread the needle and resolve their problems.

Match Game, Comedy
Chris Gorham (COVERT AFFAIRS), Laurie Elliott (VIDEO ON TRIAL), Jonathan Goldstein (NPR), and Meaghan Rath (BEING HUMAN) fill in the blanks with all sorts of blank.

    Tuesday night’s This Hour Has 22 Minutes on CBC will feature one of the network’s biggest stars, Jian Ghomeshi, guest hosting. Casting the Q host is an excellent decision, since it will likely bring a younger audience to the show, that has already been on air for an amazing 20 years. Which got me thinking, what if 22 Minutes always had guest hosts and was essentially changed into the Canadian version of Saturday Night Live? Read more.

Fitz discovers being a City Councilor doesn’t give him any power, and changes tactics. However, seducing the Mayor into fast-tracking his re-zoning legislation gets Fitz a new drinking buddy and a new title, but still no lounge. Worried that Fitz is losing focus, Larry pushes a prohibition by-law through city council resulting in a tragic sober-driving accident that threatens to undermine the entire political system by making Fitz the acting Mayor of a police state.

Heartland, CBC – “Life is a Highway”
Chase Powers returns to Heartland with an aspiring “liberty horse” rider (Hayley) who wants Amy to be her coach. And Amy is shocked to learn what Hayley’s connection is to Chase.
